We left Memphis, the most western town of Tennessee, and as we did in Texas, we went eastwards througt the whole state.

Nashville

So we came to Nashville. This town is also famous for its musicians, e.g. Johnny Cash. We arrived in the late afternoon and had some BBQ with live music. I was told that the best BBQ you can have is in Memphis. I tried it and as an attentive reader you might know, that I didn’t mention it. There was a reason for that. But I got perfect spare ribs here!

Chattanooga

Our next stop was Chattanooga. We visited the Choo Choo and the „Lookout Mountain“ with its memorial of the civil war. The restaurant we wanted to eat at, was 21+, so we had to go somewhere else.

Knoxville

Our last stop in Tennessee was Knoxville, where we had a drive through the „Great Smoky Mountains“. In the evening we went to watch a baseball game.
