By now, we’ve been on the road for four weeks. Sticking together all day long, changing accommodation nearly every day, can build up some tention. So we made a decision:
no zigzag anymore, up to the north only!
On our way to Norfolk we passed New Bern, the birthplace of Pepsi-Cola,
several long and huge bridges,
and another thunderstorm on our left.
Arriving in Norfolk we went through the Neon District, where you can find lots of pretty good street art.
In the historic part of Williamsburg we did a historic walk along a historic path on a historically hot afternoon.
Next stop: Washington DC – stay tuned
