We left Memphis, the most western town of Tennessee, and as we did in Texas, we went eastwards througt the whole state.

Home of the King

After hundreds of miles we left our meanwhile beloved I10 to go north. We’ve been driving on the I10 since El Paso – with some exceptions of course.

We planned a beach-day, which had to be in Florida. So we went there.

Arriving in New Orleans late in the evening, we got some information about where to go and have something to eat with „children“ under the age of 21. This information is really important in this town!

Unfortunately we had to leave Texas to go on our route in direction of New York. But one of the last things we did, was visiting Port Arthur – Janis Joplin was born and raised there.
