Here we are again – endless spaces.

On our way to Carlsbad Caverns we had to pass them all. It was a trip for about two hours and finally we got to the entrance of the National Park.

Yes, we did it again. We bought an annual pass for all National Parks. There would be several coming up.

Going down to the entrance of the cave, but not without a walk through the visitor center. There you get the latest information of what you will see soon.

You see that amphitheater? At dusk you can watch thousands of bats coming out of the black hole in the middle of the pic. They are nested in a separate part of the cave where visitors aren’t allowed, so they won’t be disturbed.

Inside the cave system you can go on your own and watch those stunning stalagtites and stalagmites growing – if you have that much time.

It took us about two and a half hours to walk through the two and a half miles path and it was worth every second.
